Floor-To-Ceiling Windows 100 Barrow Kitchens
  • Living Room.

Panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows are a dramatic backdrop to informal entertaining in the open-plan living and dining area. Finely detailed craftsmanship is evident in the oil-rubbed bronze window surrounds and the naturally finished, white oak floors, with 5 inch-wide rift and quarter-sawn boards.

  • Kitchen & Dining Room.

Detailed in a richly textured palette of grey oak and oil-rubbed bronze, the open kitchen creates a warm, cozy setting for relaxed entertaining. Finely crafted bronze window frames, inpsired by the cast-iron detailing of historic West Village architecture, add an elegant touch. Grey oak Poliform cabinets and custom hardware and fixtures in oil-rubbed satin bronze, crafted by Watermark Designs, harmonize with Carrara marble countertops and backsplash and appliances by Gaggenau.

  • Master Bedroom.

Sunlight and city views add to the airy allure of the master bedroom, an inviting space for lounging as well as napping. Wide-plank white oak floors in a natural finish offer a cool counterpoint to the handsome oil-rubbed bronze frames of the floor-to-ceiling windows, parts of which are screened by exterior bronze fins.

  • Master Bathroom.

An oasis of cool grey and black, the master bath offers ample opportunity to luxuriate, from a relaxing soak in the marble-enclosed tub to a soothing steam in the shower room. The bathroom's subtle palette includes beautifully veined grey marble walls, floors and tub surrounds of rich black marble, Carrara marble counters, and exactingly detailed oil-rubbed satin bronze door frames and plumbing fixtures.

  • Powder Room.

Multi-textured geometric tiles from Mutina, designed by the celebrated young London design studio Raw Edges, grace the floor and accent wall. Custom fixtures crafted in a striking matte black finish create a bold, graphic complement to hand-finished grey plaster walls.

  • Duplex Terrace.

Sculptural planters inspired by the neighboring gardens define roomy outdoor entertaining areas with dramatic views.

  • Penthouse Living Room.

Designed for informal yet glamorous gatherings, the open kitchen, living, and dining space is surrounded by views in three directions, from the Hudson River to downtown to the tree-lined streets of the Village. A dramatic wall crafted from richly stained grey oak strikes a vivid counterpoint to the pale floors of 5-inch rift and quarter-sawn white oak.

  • Waterfront Vistas.

Indulge in a luxurious soak in the hot tub or sip a glass of rosé while watching the sun set over the Hudson River from the privacy of the secluded rooftop terrace.

Residences.

Restrained, luxurious interiors with an exacting attention to craft and fine-grained details are a defining element of 100 Barrow. Designed by Brooklyn-based Bernheimer Architecture, the residences continue the refined, understated language of the exterior architecture. Handsome materials such as wide-plank white oak floors, oil-rubbed satin bronze entry doors, and walls of richly veined grey marble lend a timeless yet contemporary feel to the residences. As principal Andrew Bernheimer notes, “There are not a lot of flourishes in the traditional sense, but there are a lot of clean, thoughtful details.” Bernheimer designed all of the custom kitchen and bathroom fixtures, which are fabricated in Brooklyn by artisanal plumbing manufacturer Watermark Designs.
